FG Plans New Guidelines on Border Control, Expatriate Quota

During a meeting with key private sector stakeholders and business associations, the Minister of Interior emphasized that these upcoming changes aim to eliminate administrative inefficiencies, curb corruption, and reduce long waiting periods for expatriate documentation, which currently pose security risks. To ensure these adjustments support economic growth while protecting national interests, a collaborative committee will be established to finalize the framework within one week. Additionally, officials highlighted ongoing improvements in digital public services, including passport application automation, as part of a broader commitment to fostering a business-friendly environment through strong public-private partnerships.
