Sanwo-Olu Unveils Three Roads Today

The Governor of Lagos State, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, is launching Demurin Road alongside Agidi Street and Church Street to improve regional connectivity and ease resident travel. Announced by the Commissioner for Information and Strategy, Gbenga Omotoso, these newly upgraded routes provide crucial alternative links between the Third Axial Road and Ikorodu Road. The Demurin and Agidi corridor serves as an essential economic bypass connecting the densely populated community of Ketu, residential estates, and major trading centers like the Mile Twelve Market and the Owode Onirin Auto Parts Market. Previously, heavy traffic and poor drainage severely damaged the route, creating difficult travel conditions for motorists. Recognizing its vital economic importance, the state leadership authorized a comprehensive rehabilitation to deliver durable modern infrastructure that will reduce travel times and withstand heavy use for many years.
