This feat was attained through the tireless efforts of the National Librarian/CEO, Prof. Chinwe Veronica Anunobi.
It could be recalled that the National Librarian/CEO accompanied by the Head of ISSN division, Mrs Phyllis Ifeoma Jekhine attended the ISSN International Centre 50th Anniversary/Conference, in Paris, France held in October, 2025.
It is also worthy of note that in 2014, Nigeria ISSN Centre was awarded a Certificate of Recognition for commitments, consistent efforts and impressive achievements of the ISSN team within the National Library of Nigeria.
Prof. Anunobi has dedicated the global recognition to staff of the International Standards and Programmes Department (IS&PD) for their dedication and commitment to duty.
